Drying in the sun.

Well one of my black angels broke: I was going to try to fix it but then I broke it irretrievably! :( Oh well such is the life of a potter!
Today I made some agate clay and I have made some agateware hearts for Mothers day. I hope they turn out OK.

I decided I needed to make some black angels and since I have recently purchased some black porcelain clay, it seemed the perfect opportunity to try it. The only thing is that I got into my workshop a little later than anticipated and ended up rushing them! I think they are fine, but just before I left them for the evening I thought they were in danger of losing their heads!! Here they are drying.
